About This Program
Get job ready for your career with the Business Office Skills Program, a hands-on training experience designed to build strong digital, administrative, and workplace communication skills. Participants receive practical instruction in key Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) alongside essential competencies such as file management, online research, document formatting, customer service, and professional communication.
The program also includes enriching workshops in time management, cybersecurity, AI tools, EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion), and self‑presentation to support success in today’s modern work environments.
Participants will complete 100 hours of paid internship, gaining valuable real-world work experience to strengthen their resumes and transition confidently into employment.
This program is ideal for individuals looking to develop office-ready skills, boost employability, and build a strong foundation for career advancement. This program is in partnership with Centennial College and North Pine Foundation.

Program Details
This program is offered in April, September, and February.
Duration: 10 weeks + 100 hours of paid internship for eligible participants
Eligibility: Racialized newcomers, CLB 5+
Format: Hybrid (Zoom)
Location: 44 Mobile Drive, Toronto, ON
Note that due to the classroom sizes and high volume of applicants, not all applicants are guaranteed a spot in the program.
