Our Programs
Clothing Program
New Circles offers free clothing program where individuals and families living on a limited income can access new or gently used, quality clothing in a welcoming, respectful, and retail-inspired environment. The program provides clothing for the whole family, including seasonal essentials such as winter coats, boots, and running shoes, as well as items such as maternity wear and plus-size clothing.
Our dedicated volunteers help create an inclusive experience where clients can choose items that meet their needs and reflect their personal style. The clothing program also supports participants in our skills training programs by providing a hands-on learning environment where they can build employability skills and prepare for the workplace.
Needs Assessment & Referral Services
New Circles provides settlement support for eligible individuals and families through needs and assets assessments using the National Assessment and Referral System (NAARS). Together with each client, we develop a personalized and portable settlement plan, identify goals and priorities, and connect clients with appropriate community services, opportunities, and supports.
Newcomer Settlement Services
Newcomer Settlement Services supports newcomers as they build connections, navigate services, and participate in their local communities and the labour market. Program activities respond to each client’s settlement, language, employment, housing, childcare, and community needs through practical information, referrals, and individualized support.
Employment Programs
New Circles provides employment services and skills training for newcomers, refugees, and equity-deserving community members. At no cost to participants, our programs support career preparation in areas such as business and office administration, retail and customer service, home support work, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and construction. Participants build confidence, strengthen workplace skills, and access practical supports as they move toward meaningful employment or self-employment.
