The Home Support Worker (HSW) Program is a 7-week, skills-focused training pathway that prepares participants for entry-level roles in Ontario’s home and community care sector. Through hands-on learning, participants build practical caregiving skills, workplace readiness, communication skills, and safety awareness in a supportive learning environment.
Business Office Skills
The Business Office Skills (BOS) Program helps participants build digital, administrative, and workplace communication skills for office and customer-facing roles. Through hands-on instruction, participants strengthen their abilities in Microsoft 365 tools, file management, online research, document formatting, customer service, and professional communication.
Retail & Customer Service Skills
An 8‑week, full‑time training program designed to build strong foundational skills for customer service and retail roles. The program provides hands‑on learning in key essential employability skills, including communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and self‑confidence.
Digital Support Workshops
This workshop will cover digital basics and awareness, online collaboration tools, email etiquette, and online employment tools.
Employment Readiness Workshop
We offer employment readiness workshops that help participants strengthen job-search skills, including résumé writing, interview preparation, workplace communication, networking, and strategies for navigating the labour market.
Ecommerce Training
The E‑Commerce Training for Entrepreneurs program is a 30‑hour, hands‑on learning experience designed for aspiring and early‑stage entrepreneurs, particularly racialized newcomers who want to launch or grow an online business. Through practical workshops, participants learn the fundamentals of e‑commerce, build and design their own websites, and develop essential skills in branding, digital marketing, and business planning.
Entrepreneur Workshop Series
Accelerate your entrepreneurial journey with this dynamic 1–2-week workshop designed to help you confidently launch your own business. Whether you’re exploring a new idea or ready to take the next step, this program equips you with the practical tools, resources, and skills needed to get started.
Construction Training: Drywall Training
The Construction: Drywall Training Program helps participants build practical construction skills and confidence in a supportive learning environment. Participants gain hands-on experience with tool use, measuring, framing, drywall, plastering, painting, trimming, demolition, and workplace safety certifications that support entry-level employment.
