Our Impact

New Circles provides comprehensive skills training and settlement support to newcomers, refugees, and equity-deserving individuals and families. For up to 12-weeks, and at no charge, we ready our clients for employment in business and retail, or we provide assistance to help them start their own businesses.

We know that moving to a new country is a culture shock, so our approach is to address the most urgent needs of our clients and then build upon that care. We help to provide solutions while breaking down the barriers.

In 2022-2023, our GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear) clothing store provided clothing for 21,273 equity-deserving people:

Women: 6,828
Children: 8,374
Men: 6,071

This represents a 48% increase in client numbers from 2022.

Our Newcomer Settlement Program assisted 1,156 individuals:

Adults: 524
Children: 632
