Participants in our Business Office Skills training program are motivated, knowledgeable, and eager to contribute their skills towards your company’s goals. Through the Business Office Skills Program, our participants gain the following skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Business communication
  • Customer service
  • Digital fluency
  • Keyboarding

 

Who are our Interns

Participants in the Business Office Skills Program are required to complete at least 100 hours of work placement in an administrative, clerical or customer service role. Your organization can provide these valuable work placement opportunities. Do not hesitate to contact us to help with your hiring needs.

About this program

You can help shape our future business professionals or the next entrepreneur! Share your specific knowledge, advice, insights and your network connections by signing up as a mentor for our pre-employment training participants, who are newcomers to Canada.

  • Enhance your intercultural knowledge and competencies
  • Build your professional network by engaging with other mentors

Competencies developed in this program include:

  • Intercultural competencies
  • Networking
  • Interpersonal communications

Requirements:

  • You have more than 2 years work experience in any field or profession in Canada
  • You live or work in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario
  • You are willing to dedicate some time to share your industry knowledge and networking expertise with a newcomer
  • You have a desire to give back and develop professionally
