Business Office Skills
About This Program
The Business Office Skills (BOS) Program helps participants build digital, administrative, and workplace communication skills for office and customer-facing roles. Participants receive hands-on instruction in Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with file management, online research, document formatting, customer service, and professional communication.
The program also includes enriching workshops in time management, cybersecurity, AI tools, EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion), and self‑presentation to support success in today’s modern work environments.
Participants will complete 100 hours of paid internship, gaining valuable real-world work experience to strengthen their resumes and transition confidently into employment.
This program is designed for participants who want to develop office-ready skills, strengthen employability, and build a strong foundation for career advancement. It is offered in partnership with Centennial College and North Pine Foundation.

Program Details
This program is offered in April, September, and February.
Duration: 10 weeks + 100 hours of paid internship for eligible participants
Eligibility: Racialized newcomers, CLB 5+
Format: Hybrid (Zoom)
Location: 44 Mobile Drive, Toronto, ON
Note that due to the classroom sizes and high volume of applicants, not all applicants are guaranteed a spot in the program.
