This program is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in retail and customer service, with a supportive environment and practical, real-world experience.
Requirements
- You live or work in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario
- Canadian Language Benchmark 5 plus
- Newcomers, primarily supporting women
What You Will Learn
Through this program you will:
- Hybrid learning model: virtual and in-person
- 8 weeks of full-time online training
- 80 hours of paid internship at our GLOW retail store
- 2 course credits and a certificate from Centennial College
- No cost to participants

*Note that due to the classroom sizes and high volume of applicants, not all applicants are guaranteed a spot in the program.

Entrepreneurial Workshops
New Circles understands the barriers that newcomer women face, including a lack of knowledge of small business and entrepreneurship structure in Canada. We will help you build social networks and build your business plan.
Home Support Worker
This program focuses on social emotional skills development, technical skills, along with home support sector and basic entrepreneurial skills.
Business Office Skills
This program combines virtual instructor-led training and hands-on or remote experience in administrative and/or customer services positions.
