About This Program
Retail and Customer Service Skills is a free 12-week program that includes a combination of virtual learning and hands-on experience in our store, where participants complete 80-hours paid work placement.
The program runs twice a year.
Requirements
- Newcomers, primarily supporting women
- You live or work in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario
- Canadian Language Benchmark 5 plus
What You Will Learn
Through this program you will:
- Develop job skills
- Earn transferable college credits
- Earn a certificate from Centennial College
Build a professional network by engaging with mentors - Participate in Styling workshops and outfit yourself for your interviews

New Circles understands the barriers that newcomer women face, including a lack of knowledge of small business and entrepreneurship structure in Canada. We will help you build social networks and build your business plan.

This program focuses on social emotional skills development, technical skills, along with home support sector and basic entrepreneurial skills.

This program combines virtual instructor-led training and hands-on or remote experience in administrative and/or customer services positions.
