Business Office Skills

The Business Office Skills program is ideal for women seeking an entry-level reception or administrative position. Offered in partnership with Centennial College and Labour Education Centre, this free program runs two cycles, the first from September to December and the second from January to April. Students participate in 12 weeks of full-time training with both classroom-based learning and hands-on experience in  administration, customer service and business communication.

This program teaches professional business writing, Microsoft Office, applications, workplace communication, as well as providing support with job search activities. Classes are taught by a qualified college instructor, as well as workshops presented by guest speakers. Students will complete 100 hours of placement at partner agencies in the Toronto area. Upon completion, students will receive college credit, as well as a certificate from Centennial College.
