Meeting Basic Needs, Building Skills, and Creating New Circles

New Circles offers programs and services to meet the needs of low income families in the five communities we serve: Thorncliffe Park, Flemingdon Park, Victoria Village, Taylor-Massey, and Oakridge.  We serve others in need outside of our catchment area based on referrals from partner agencies, such as settlement organizations, food banks, shelters and other service providers.

We meet basic needs for clothing, promote social inclusion, build skills and enhance employability. Our free services include:
GLOW (Gently Loved Outfits to Wear)
GLOW provides high quality, gently worn and new clothing to families in our catchment area. We also offer one-time emergency relief for those living outside our catchment area who have an immediate need for clothing, based on a referral from a partner agency.
Retail and Office Skills Training
Certificate training programs in retail and office skills focus on helping participants find employment.  Our programs combine classroom learning, supervised placements and support for job search.
Social Programs for Women
Social programs for women offer newcomer and immigrant women the opportunity to build language skills, explore their community, and make new friends. We ensure a safe and supportive environment to gain confidence and settle comfortably into the community.
Youth Programs
Our youth programs include special Teen Shopping Days, Back to School shopping, and our Prom Boutique. We also offer a special program for youth to gain retail experience, as well as community service hours, through Leaders in Service Training.
