“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” ~ Winston Churchill

New Circles has been giving this opportunity to many families and has helped families reinvent themselves. It is a non-profit organization run by determined volunteers who take this as a pathway towards stronger community.

New Circles has given me a new perspective towards the retail industry. I am enrolled in one of their programs called L.I.S.T. It is a wonderful program that has so far taught me about customer service, theoretically and practically. They have not just given us boring books to study but an amazing atmosphere where we can learn by doing the things we speak about. The most unique experience of mine was the day when we all got creative. It was the day when we dyed white t-shirts, one each. The uniqueness of it was not us dying t-shirts but how our brains worked towards creativity. It showed how differently everyone thought, their fashion sense and a lot more about their personalities.

Hence, this was an activity that made us understand each other even more; t-shirts were for one each but ideas were plenty and helping hands were many. Furthermore, this activity is also useful for me in a way that I can use this in future and share it with others. I believe, New Circles’ programs are very innovative and centered towards people who are willing to give their share to the community.

New Circles' GLOW clothing service is the largest clothing bank in Toronto. We help 12,000 people of all ages annually.
