Stress & Youth Mental Health

On August 16, Charmagne Sia Lu, a doctor of naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, came to the LIST program to speak to us on mental health.  

She talked about stress and how to deal with stress, as well as how people are going through stress in many ways and how it will increase in the future. The speech she gave us was very helpful. Charmagne talked about how to cool off when stressed, and mentioned various activities one can do to reduce stress. Some of the examples she gave are listening to music, watching movies or reading. It was a great session.
