Huffington Post Visits the Seniors Mobile Mall

Seniors are some of the most vulnerable members of our community, often facing social isolation, mobility barriers, and other health and accessibility issues. Due to these challenges, many of our senior clients are unable to visit GLOW – so that’s where the Mobile Mall comes in!

These fun events bring racks of specially selected clothing, shoes and accessories – as well as health workshops and a chance to socialize with volunteers and neighbours – to six local Toronto Community Housing residences.

On August 10, the Huffington Post visited the Mobile Mall and met with residents to learn about their stories. Click here to view the video!

The Seniors Mobile Malls are supported by the Tippett Foundation, St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto and the Christina Mary Hendrie Trust.

New Circles' GLOW clothing service is the largest clothing bank in Toronto. We help 12,000 people of all ages annually.
